i was told if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all.....but that doesnt solve problems.
first off, this is just a plain bad idea. my severe dislike of this comes from the lady over california. we've all heard about her and her 8 new babies. this means she now has 14 kids under the age of 8. if she couldnt care for her first 6 kids, why was she going to a fertility center? she is a single mother. there is no way on Gods good green earth that she can be a good mother to 14 kids. she cant afford all these new babies...she admits it. she wont go on shows and tell her story unless they give her $2 million. she is just going for more governmental handouts.....
yes, there is such a thing as having too many kids and being economically irresponsible. however, if im fully capable of taking care of 3 or 4 or 5 or more kids, then let me have them. its not hurting you if i can provide for my family, but dont say im being irresponsible. for me to be able to budget to take care of that big of a family, then obviously im more responsible than half the joe blows out there with a case of the gimmes.
if stuff like those articels above go through, than IM being punished for HER stupidity....dont put limitations on me because of someone else. dont say I cant drive my boat because HE was drunk and drove his onto the beach....thats absurd!!
the first link up there has this quote, "Porritt, a former chairman of the Green party, says the government must improve family planning, even if it means shifting money from curing illness to increasing contraception and abortion. "
so, this past weekend i went to va for a wedding. it was for a couple that got engaged at the luke18 internship. it was a lot of fun. i got to see a few people that i havent seen since the internship, and more importantly, i got to see MY someone from the internship, lol. it was a lot of fun getting to see cortney. we met in atlanta and flew up together. we got to spend the majority of the weekend together. it was really nice getting to see her and talk to her again. this was the first time since before thanksgiving.
here are a couple pics she took of us in va:
so school has started back for me. i am taking 19 hrs as soon as i get this last class cleared through the dept dean. it is another research class like the one last semester. we're supposed to start next week. heres a rough rundown of my schedule:
MWF: 10-11 political philosophy 12-1 psychology of learning 1-2 i/o psychology
TR: 930-1045 research methods 12-1 research methods lab 2-315 symbolic logic
this semester will leave me just one class until i can graduate. commencement is august 10, but its not like im excited or counting or anything. right now i am working on a few last little things that will finish up some of my applications for grad school. im hoping to have those finished this week, before my semester gets any busier. i am taking my same prof that i took last semester that had us turn in essays every week. hes my poli phil professor. so its a busy semester...
well, i just really wanted to post so yall could all see the newest pics of me and cortney. and btw, she like the purse i got her for christmas, and she got me a shirt and a french press...the french press i have already used 3 times since i got home yesterday, lol.
peace and love in HIM, --aaron--
***edtit*** p.s. - this is a french press. you pull the plunger up and there is hot water and ground coffee in the container. after you let it sit and brew for a few minutes, you push the plunger down and it keeps all the grounds at the bottom...leaving you delicious coffee!!
so, i dont know how many of yall heard this, but there was a group of people that got chased out of the Castro district in san fransisco last friday night (nov 14). from what i understand, its where a large group of the homosexual community lives. there were 10 people that were down holding hands in a circle on a street corner and singing hymns. some of the people down there were getting angry. there ended up being a mob of 500 people yelling, screaming, etc. one girl got kicked stuff. it was pretty rough. the police ended up telling them they needed to leave right then, because the mob was growing and getting out of hand. the police escorted them out and gave them a ride home in a van.
here is an account from one of the girls that was there. i know her, she was one of the people who was on leadership for our luke18 internship. she was with us in KC and in DC. she is really one of the sweetest girls i have ever met in my entire life. so tender in heart and spirit. the news reported that the group of Christians were being obnoxious and yelling and condemning, but if this girl was there, i KNOW thats not even close to what happened.
at the end of the video, they show a recording of the mob yelling at them as theyre being escorted out. from what i can see, i know at least one other person, with the the possibility of knowing at least 2 or 3 of them. if these are the people that were out there, then they werent condemning anyone. none of them would have even said a harsh word to anyone of them...they would have been sincere and saying everything in love.
these might have some offensive language...so be careful
